4 Montréal Rooftop Terrasses to discover (or rediscover!)

The days are slowly getting shorter and nights are getting cooler but it’s still August! That doesn’t mean there isn’t enough summer left to squeeze in a few more patio sessions before we break out the down-filled parkas and winter tires. The city is filled with patios – or what we call in Montréal “terrasses”. Société des Arts Technologiques
The Société des Arts Technologiques, known locally as “the SAT” is a centre for arts and technological research located in the south end of Montréal’s performing arts district, the Quartier des spectacles. Chef Michelle Marek heads the SAT’s “culinary creation lab.” The menu and wine list, centred on the discovery of different flavours and gastronomic experimentation, are created around a main theme and changed every month. The large rooftop patio is a favourite among those attending the SAT’s events and with folks meeting up with friends for a casual happy hour.
