Looking for something to do in between Christmas and New Year’s? The days between the two holidays can be quiet, but CONTACT Music Festival promises to shake things up. The second annual winter music festival is Western Canada’s largest electronic indoor music festival. Last year, the music festival featured Canadian DJ Deadmau5 and attracted 12,000 spectators. This year, CONTACT 2013 is poised to break that number with headliners Skrillex and Kaskade, two of the biggest names in electronic dance music. With audience members coming from all over the Pacific Northwest, CONTACT 2013 promises to grow and push the boundaries of the electronic music scene.
The two-night event takes places on December 26th 27th at BC Place. As the first two-day festival to take place at BC Place, CONTACT 2013 aims to trump all previous large-scale events as the most elaborate to date. Along with headliners Skrillex and Kaskade, CONTACT will bring together some of the most illustrious artists in the electronic music industry from all over the world. Skrillex, Dada Life, Diplo, Baauer, Cashmere Cat, and Sleepy Tom will perform on December 26th, while December 27th will feature Kaskade, Dirty South, Flosstradamus, RL Grime, and MAKJ.
