#LittleThingsWhistler Winter Wonderland Contest Winner

The simple beauty of the forest deep under snow. The elegant geometry of icicles. The colours of sunrise over the mountains. These are the little moments @nic411 captures on her Instagram account, and it’s why she was chosen as the second winner of our #LittleThingsWhistler Contest, winning both a snowmobile tour from The Adventure Group and a snowshoe tour from Canadian Wilderness Adventures.

This photo is not good quality by any means however it definitely captures my joy. I whipped out my iPhone so fast and snapped it before this disappeared. The wind was blowing snow off the trees and I walked a couple of feet and boom the sun hit me through the trees and it was incredibly beautiful. My walks to work are often my favourite part of my day. #littlethingswhistler
