Vancouver’s Sweetest Festival Returns to Yaletown, Nov 21
What: On Saturday November 21st, 2015, the fourth annual CandyTown festival will set up shop once again, as downtown Vancouver’s only free outdoor Christmas celebration. CandyTown will draw on a seasonal candy theme to deliver a fun, memorable day for kids of all ages—from families with young children to groups of adults who want to get in on the holiday spirit.
When: Saturday November 21st from 12pm to 7pm.
Where: Those wishing to attend the CandyTown festival should visit Mainland Street in Yaletown, Vancouver. The event will see Vancouver’s heritage district transformed into a winter wonderland.
Why: Thousands of seasonal revelers will descend upon Yaletown as the neighbourhood welcomes back downtown Vancouver’s sweetest winter festival. From horse drawn carriage rides and visits with Santa and the Ice Queen, to Christmas arts and crafts, and of course lots of candy treats, CandyTown is an event to ignite the festive sprits in all guests.
CandyTown also supports the BC Children’s Hospital and Starlight Children’s Foundation, and attendees are invited to donate to these important organizations. With food vendors such as Ganong Chocolate, Damien’s Belgian Waffles, Half Baked Cookie Co., Mancakes Bakery, Maple Sugar Shack, Big Red’s Poutine, and the many exquisite Yaletown shops open to start your holiday shopping, this event is not to be missed.
