Saturday, August 11 vs Real Salt Lake @ BC Place – 4:00pm
Currently sitting in second place in the MLS Western Conference table, Real Salt Lake are a premier force in both MLS and CONCACAF Champion League play. Featuring MLS stars like midfielder Kyle Beckerman and goalkeeper Nick Rimando, RSL is consistent, crafty and experienced – and with Vancouver fighting to gain points against what’s arguably the league’s best squad, a memorable match is all but guaranteed.
Wednesday, August 15 vs FC Dallas @ BC Place – 7:00pm
FC Dallas returns to Vancouver after falling to the ‘Caps on April 21 – but this time, the Texas-based outfit is bringing one of North America’s top young talents, Brek Shea. Currently on the outside of the MLS Cup Playoff picture, FC Dallas are looking to find their stride and climb up the Western Conference standings. The weeknight match presents a great opportunity to break up the mid-week doldrums by heading down to BC Place.
