Whistler Sabbatical Winner Arrives
Posted by: Feet Banks
“Lucky” Luke Dillon, the 23-year-old winner of the Whistler Sabbatical Project arrived in Whistler on March 15, in the middle of some of the snowiest days of the season.
“This is brilliant,” said Luke, who lives in London, England. “Over 30 centimetres of fresh snow for our first day.”
“We don’t often get snow like this in Europe,” added Tim Davis, the childhood friend who beat out Luke’s family members and girlfriend to be the “+ 1” for all of Luke’s Whistler adventures, which includes heliskiing, Bobsleigh, spa days and a lot of fine dining.
The two young Brits also intend to ski every single day of their 32-day sabbatical.
Upon arriving Luke and Tim were set up with a gorgeous 4000-square foot log home courtesy of Whistler Platinum and new ski equipment from K2 Skis.
Check out the video of Lucky Luke (and even luckier Tim) arriving in Canada, moving into their new home, and preparing for a month of living the Whistler dream. Stay tuned for more video updates in the following weeks.
