With the school holidays gently drawing to a close, it’s good to know there are plenty of ways to spend time in British Columbia’s wilderness without days of packing, preparation and epic levels of fitness. Whistler’s mellow trails and shorter alpine walks provide the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle with the family for an afternoon of nature therapy.

In this special 360 degree video cinematographer Brian Hockenstein explored a couple of Whistler’s shorter hikes, discovering massive waterfalls, rushing rivers and ancient trees – all from trail heads located a few minutes’ drive from Whistler Village.
