Health Design Showcase (April 17)
An example of how art and design are symbiotic with science, Emily Carr University‘s Health Design Lab is hosting a Health Design Showcase on April 17. To be featured are projects funded and collaborated on with medical industry and community partners. With an international student body, Emily Carr University is a world-renowned arts and education institution, and this free event will take place at their beautiful new East Vancouver campus. Health Crawl 2.0 (April 21)
Giving a healthy spin to the pub crawls of many a misspent youth, Health Crawl 2.0 is a one day market event for for health conscious individuals to visit historic Gastown and mingle with Vancouver’s wellness businesses. Vendors are hosted by Gastown shops and will include Vancouver fitness staple Barre Fitness, internationally known Vancouver apparel company RYU, and the Boucher Naturopathic Institute.

Women’s Health Show (April 28-29)
With a focus on natural health and wellness, this year’s Women’s Health Show will take place at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. The weekend will feature educational lectures from top health and wellness experts, informative natural health retailers, and healthy cooking demos. Put on by Women’s Voice Magazine, first 500 attendees will receive a gift bag valued featuring goodies from feature vendors!

Yoga Workshop with Ana Forrest (April 28-29)
Internationally recognized as a driving force in yoga and its life changing properties, Ana Forrest will be at Semperviva Yoga at the end of April with world music pioneer, Jose Calarco. Always with a focus on honouring our ancestors and custodians of sacred land, this workshop will use movement and music to guide strengthening qualities of attention to self in one’s yoga practice. This weekend workshop is perfect as a unique yoga experience in Vancouver!
