Celestial Cinema presents Score

Whistler Olympic Plaza. 8:00 – 10:00 pm. Whistler Presents: Celestial Cinema brought to you by the Whistler Film Festival. Screening of Score: A Hockey Musical. With a strong history of serving as a cultural catalyst by bringing independent films and artists to the area, the Whistler Film Festival is programming Whistler’s new Celestial Cinema screening series which includes a mix of crowd pleasers, audience and critic favorites.

On August 22 and 29 from 8 PM until 10 PM, grab your blankets and lawn chairs and head to Whistler Olympic Plaza for a free, outdoor film screening of Midnight in Paris. All ages are welcome and all films are G or PG rated (General or Parental Guidance). No smoking or alcohol permitted. Dogs must be on a leash. The series is weather permitting and will be moved to Millennium Place in the event of rain showers with seating available on a first come first serve basis. The call will be made at 6 PM on the evening of the screenings.

SCORE: A HOCKEY MUSICAL is a love letter to Canada that is a wry celebration of all the qualities that define us as a people – kindness, politeness, self-effacement and an ability to poke fun at ourselves.
