Is there anything better—or easier—than giving to a worthy charity just by dining out at one of your favourite Vancouver restaurants? That’s the premise behind B.C.’s largest restaurant fundraiser, the annual Dine Out for Life Vancouver, during which 250+ participating restaurants donate 25% of their sales to the HIV/AIDS charities A Loving Spoonful and Friends For Life.

Dine Out for Life Vancouver (and Whistler) happens for one day only on March 29, 2012. Participating restaurants run the gamut from high-end to family- and budget-friendly, and represent a huge diversity of cuisine, from the fashionable comfort food at North Vancouver’s Beachside Forno to the amazing mussels at Gastown’s Chambar Belgian Restaurant to Kitsilano’s casual Mexican cantina Las Margaritas.

Of course, the restaurants participating in Dine Out for Life aren’t confined to either Vancouver or Whistler; diners can find Dine Out for Life restaurants across the Lower Mainland, from White Rock to the Fraser Valley.
