Easter Egg Hunts in Vancouver for 2017 Easter Long Weekend

After a long, dreary March, nothing could be more exciting than the upcoming Easter long weekend! If you’re more excited about the prospect of searching for chocolate eggs rather than an excuse to sleep in, there are plenty of organized egg hunts happening around the city from April 15-16, 2017. Unfortunately, most of these egg hunts have an age limit of ~10 and below. But, if you have a kid, you can always live vicariously through their frantic attempts to locate plastic eggs hidden amongst the garden!

VanDusen Botanical Garden A-Maze-ing Egg Hunt

Tickets to this popular event sell out quickly, so make sure you grab a few ahead of time to avoid disappointment. The VanDusen Botanical Garden takes Easter egg hunts incredibly seriously and offers a chance for kids to navigate through a maze to find chocolate treats. There will be different hunt zones as well as fun crafts and activities to keep interest levels high.

Stanley Park Easter Train | Things To Do In Vancouver This Weekend

Stanley Park Easter Fair

It’s not just about the hunt at the Stanley Park Easter Fair. Hop onboard the Stanley Park Train for an egg-citing Easter ride through Stanley Park. After the train ride, you can enjoy fun activities including: mini golf, bouncy castles, egg hunts, meeting the Easter bunny, and more.

Easter at FlyOver Canada

The Easter bunny will be making a special appearance at FlyOver Canada to lead young aviators as they search for chocolate eggs at the annual outdoor Easter egg hunts. Children are able are to bring their own Easter themed basket, or receive a complimentary basket to fill with treats. Registration is required.

Yaletown Roundhouse Easter Egg Hunt

Hippity hoppity down to the Yaletown Roundhouse for the annual Eggs-tacular Easter Egg Hunt. The event includes an egg hunt, face painting, arts and crafts, games, a candy bag and Easter basket to take home, cookie decorating, live bunnies and other animals, and a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Easter Fun Run Egg Hunt

This Easter-themed fun run offers a 10km and 5km run/walk plus a 1km little bunny run/walk! All ages and abilities are invited to come out, which makes it a great way to encourage exercise before indulging in chocolate! Participants will also get bunny ears, free coffee/hot chocolate, and a few other surprises!

Easter Scavenger Hunt at the Vancouver Aquarium

Fun for the whole family, the Easter Scavenger Hunt at the Aquarium will provide trivia clues and lead visitors on a journey through the Aquarium’s galleries in search of the hidden eggs. By learning the eggs-traordinary stories, visitors will use their newfound knowledge to solve the clues and uncover the secret word. Visitors can then return their completed trivia form to receive a chocolate treat and enter to win one of three up-close-and-personal Animal Encounters with either curious penguins, majestic sea lions, or playful sea otters.
