Did you know that there are only 97 days until Christmas? Summer is barely over and Halloween decorations are already filling up the stores. You know what that means… It’s time to start your Christmas shopping!

Okay, maybe not. But we can’t help but admit the winter season is slowly creeping up on us. Especially with today’s announcement that starting this December, Vancouver will play host to Canada’s largest indoor Christmas Festival taking place at the PNE Forum (2901 East Hastings Street) from December 11 – 20, 2015.

The “Vancouver Winter Wonderland” will fill over 45,000 square feet of indoor space and will feature more than 100 unique exhibitors and never-seen-before holiday themed attractions with activities, attractions, and arts and crafts, and of course, Santa and his reindeer.

Best of all, The Vancouver Winter Wonderland will be held indoors, so you won’t have to worry about wearing rain gear. And because of the huge amount of space, the festival will feature some unique attractions including a three story tall walk-through snow globe.

The list of vendors for the event hasn’t been released yet, but it is already 75% sold out, so you know it’s gotta be good. There will be a selection process to ensure that the preferred vendors provide guests with a great shopping opportunity.

You still have a few weeks/months to wait before the Vancouver Winter Wonderland officially opens, but tickets are already on sale. Entrance to the festival will cost $5 online.

The operating times for the festival will be from 11am-11pm on weekends and 3pm-11pm on weekdays running from December 11th until the 20th at the PNE Forum.
