Now you can fly from Vancouver to Seattle and Tofino on scheduled floatplane service

Change is afloat for Vancouver’s Harbour Air, the largest all-seaplane airline in North America, with two recently announced destinations: Seattle and Tofino.

With summer just on the horizon Harbour Air’s collaboration with Seattle’s Kemore Air comes at just the right time. Adding two round-trip flights each weekday starting April 26, this hour-long flight will cut hours of traditional travel time, connecting downtown Vancouver and downtown Seattle directly—leaving more time for eating, exploring, and visiting.

We can also look forward to the new direct one-hour flight from Vancouver’s Coal Harbour to the idyllic seaside community of Tofino, Vancouver Island. Saving hours of sailing and driving time, this new connection will also offer sweeping views of B.C.’s mountains, temperate rainforest, and stunning coastline. The flights will run once per day Thursday to Monday come May 10, giving us just enough time to get our surfboards ready.

Harbour Air also operates carbon neutral flight services to South Vancouver (YVR), Victoria, Comox, Sechelt, Nanaimo, Pitt Meadows, Saltspring Island, and seasonally to Whistler. While we wait, visit Harbour Air’s website for flight times and more information.
