Outdoor Christmas Movies Offer Two Nights of Festive Fun!

Load your car up with friends and family to enjoy some holiday classics this weekend for some festive-fun in the style of a retro drive-in movie theatre!
For two nights, Outdoor Movies BC will be setting up their gigantic inflatable movie screen to play some Christmas classics in South Vancouver! Films include The Grinch, The Polar Express, Elf, and A Christmas Story.
The Christmas Drive-In movie series offers you a chance to pile into your car, turn up the stereo to a special FM broadcasting station, and enjoy a 4 storey-high screen from the warmth and comfort of your own car. You can use your imagination and make a “car fort” with tons of pillows and blankets. (Plus, no one will know you’re wearing pyjamas).
A “Carload parking pass” costs $20 +tax for parking at the Christmas Drive-In for the the movie of your choice for one car/truck/van/SUV, and entry for you + up to 7 other guests inside your vehicle. Tickets can be pre-purchased online.
Gates open up for the drive-in at 6pm nightly, and you’ll have plenty of time to nab a good spot, set up camp in your car, and grab some snacks from the four food trucks that will also be on site!
