Recreation Tradeshow

Pemberton and Area Recreation Advisory Committee Recreation Tradeshow. 3:00 — 5:00pm. In an effort to improve communication and generate more recreation excitement in the community, we are organiz-ing a recreation tradeshow for Saturday, April 28th at the Pemberton Community Centre.
 

The RAC is a public group of community volunteers, who meet and openly welcome all community members to at-tend meetings on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm, to share thoughts, feedback, concerns or innovative ide-as regarding the delivery of recreation and leisure services in Pemberton and the surrounding area. For the past three years, the Recreation Advisory Committee has provided thoughtful advice on a number of matters relating to recrea-tion services in the community.

Our Committee is made up of nine dedicated volunteers from Pemberton and Area which includes; Anne Crowley (Co-Chair), Bill Sirota, Jessica Turner, Kathy Jenkins, Lindsay May (Co-Chair), Michelle Klaui, Niki Vankerk, Pat Archer Rebecca Barley (Area C School Trustee).
Pemberton and Area Recreation Services is made possible through the joint partnership of the local government au-thorities of Electoral area C and the Village of Pemberton, Both areas contribute funds towards recreation services in the region.

If you are a member of the community looking for new ways to experience all that Pemberton has to offer, stop by and check-out the booths on April 28th. If you are a community group, non-profit group or you want the community to know you provide a recreation opportunity within the area, book a table during the tradeshow and showcase your or-ganization.
