Born in raised and northwest Canada, Shane was the first poet from outside the USA to win the prestigious USA National Individual Poetry Slam. He has performed to full houses around the world – from university amphitheatres to the most respected music and literacy festivals, to his heartwarming “We Are More” poem performed during the 2010 opening ceremonies.

Ivan Coyote Born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Coyote is an award-winning author of six collections of short stories, one novel, three CD’s, four short films and a renowned performer. With her love for live storytelling, and over the last thirteen years, she has become an audience favourite at music, poetry, spoken word and writer’s festivals from Anchorage to Amsterdam.
