How long have you been a Vancouverite? Born and raised (31 years and counting)
Occupation:
I’m a Pastry Chef/Consultant and Owner/Operator at MARKED EDIBLE DESIGNS, where I create specialty cakes for birthdays, weddings, and special occasions, along with teaching classes in pastry and other avenues of edible art. You can visit the website above for more information, and follow me @ediblemark for the latest updates. Earlier this year, I also concluded my consultancy and recipe development for the highly publicized Cartems Donuts. I currently offer my services and MARKED products at the Woodland Smokehouse Commissary.

I have an affinity for sweets but I also enjoy an active lifestyle. A personal training session with Tiz at www.tiztraining.com will get you going for the day, and keep you motivated to enjoy the outdoors in Vancouver, from running/cycling the seawall, to hiking the Grouse Grind.
Best Vancouver haiku:
I enjoy my sweets
Vancouver is filled with them
But must work it off
Top insider tip for visitors:
There are many interesting places to shop and eat in Vancouver that are off of the beaten path. Don’t be afraid to explore.
