Throne and Games puts the audience on the Iron Throne

Throne and Games: The Last Laugh.

Seems like you can’t swing a dead dragon these days without hearing about the season finale of Game of Thrones. Leave it to Vancouver TheatreSports to bring back their popular improv version of the HBO series with Throne and Games—The Last Laugh.

The show runs April 26 – June 15 (Thurs-Sat) at the Improv Centre on Granville Island. See below to find out more.

This installment marks the last in VTS’ comedy trilogy inspired by the series, itself based on the series of books by George R.R. Martin. Vancouver TheatreSports jumped on the GoT bandwagon in 2015 with Throne and Games – Laughter is Coming, and continued with Throne and Games – A Chance of Snow in 2016. For the show, ensemble members Graeme Duffy and Denise Jones have mapped out a new scenario featuring some familiar characters from the show played by VTS’s ensemble of quick-thinking improvisers. Audience members suggest plot twists, ensuring no two performances are the same.
