Where to party this Halloween 2013 in Montreal

Rocky Horror Montreal
For centuries Halloween has been a yearly tradition of guising, tomfoolery, and a celebration of the damned. However it’s now 2013 and we have grown up. Halloween is less about the pillow cases full of sweets and more about clever costumes and amazing parties. Here is a breakdown of where to go party on Halloween in Montreal…

Rocky Horror Picture Show Halloween Ball: Hands on your hips, pull your knees in tight, then pelvic thrust into the night! The classical soirée is hosted by PLASTIK PATRIK at the stunning Cinema Imperial near Place des Arts from October 31 to November 2, 2013. It will be an unforgettable evening of corset-fish-net debauchery!

Satosphere SAT

Halloween Party at SAT’s Satosphere: The SAT (1201 Saint-Laurent Blvd) has a very cool video dome called the Satosphere. On November 1, it’s where you’ll find one of the coolest Halloween parties in town. Immersive visuals by United VJs, RFID, and Azyl will be projected onto the dome, while Poirier, Prison Garde, and Jake Williams make music. More details here.

Veuve Clicquot presents Yelloween at New City Gas: Definitely one of the fancier Halloween parties happening in the city, Veuve Clicquot will be presenting “Yelloween” with world famous DJ Erick Morillo at New City Gas. The evening theme is “Carnaval” so make sure that translates to whatever costume you’re putting together! New City Gas will also be hosting a few other Halloween themed events so check out their website for more details.

Cirque Goregasm

Cirque de Bourdoir: Goregasm: Cirque de Boudoir is once again hosting the sexiest Halloween theme party of the year on Saturday October 26th. Dubbed “Goregasm” it will be taking place at a beautiful church in downtown Montreal (actual location yet to be revealed.) Featuring DJ’s like Frigid, Mary Hell, Omni and Davidé, the party promises to be a kinky, fetish, fun pit. Details and tickets here.

The FIN Haunted House

The FIN Haunted House at Theatre Sainte Catherine: FIN is the only haunted theatrical experience in the city. It’s a terrifying and sinister “psycho-sexual treat for the senses and the senseless.” Taking place from October 30 to November 2 at Theatre Sainte Catherine (264 Sainte-Catharine East), FIN is a labyrinth of nightmares. Details here.

The HORROR Halloween at Cabaret Underworld: Taking place “Shocktober 31st” at Cabaret Underworld (1403 Sainte-Elizabeth,) this is the closest you’ll get to the goblins and ghouls of hell without actually leaving Earth’s surface.
