Whistler Snow Report: Powder for Whistler Blackcomb Opening Day 2016

TAG: Amped-Up Adventure

Whistler Mountain opened today and the conditions were pretty much perfect. Runs and lifts were limited to standard early season options but a week of snow leading up the opening (65 cm in total) made the mountain look top notch and ride even better – and that 25 cm of fresh this morning sure didn’t hurt. A couple of us managed to sneak up for a few turns this morning and we’re pleased to report that there were plenty of powder turns to be had and winter is, without a doubt, here.

Check out the stoke from Day 1 in the video and photos below, and get ready for Blackcomb Mountain opening tomorrow. Happy turns!
