Free Musical Nooners at CBC: Free Music Concerts Every Weekday Through August 24
If you work near Hamilton Street and Robson in downtown Vancouver, you’ve probably already heard the sounds: live music concerts happening right outside the CBC Vancouver studios every weekday (Monday – Friday) from noon – 1pm.
Called Musical Nooners, this free, outdoor concert series from CBC Music and McDonald’s is the perfect work-day pick-up: grab your friends and your street food, and enjoy live music from a range of entertainers, including artists from the Vancouver Folk Music Festival and the Mission Folk Music Festival.
CBC’s Musical Nooners concerts started July 6 and run through August 24, 2012. A complete list of performers is not yet available—follow on Twitter @CBCVancouver #musicalnooners for the latest updates—but here’s the schedule for July 16 – August 3:

CBC Musical Nooners concerts are 60 minutes, running from noon – 1pm every Monday – Friday at CBC’s outdoor stage at 700 Hamilton St. (between Robson and W. Georgia Streets). They’re yet another fun, free thing to do this summer!
Be prepared to sit on the grass: bring something to sit on (if you have work clothes you don’t want grass-stained) and bring a hat/shade (while we have this miraculous actual summer sun).
