Atelier d'argentine by Sunsan Moss

The much-awaited third edition of MTL à TABLE – Montreal’s Restaurant Week – will be taking place from October 30th to November 9th 2014. In association with Wine of France, over 135 restaurants will be participating in this year’s edition by offering 3-course, set price menus. This is a tasty opportunity for all food-lovers to go on a delicious discovery of one or several Montreal best restaurants at an affordable price…

Culinary tours: One of the best ways to go on a culinary discovery of Montreal during MTL à TABLE is to take part in a savoury tour. Four gourmands neighbourhoods are highlighted in these expertly led tours by VDM Global Culinary Tours. Built around the idea of a 5 à 7 – a Montreal beloved tradition also known as happy hour – the tours will start with a glass of wine from France and a bite and continue with a 2-hour culinary exploration of the area. Will it be an evening stroll in Old Montréal, an evening jaunt through Mile-End, Happy Hour in Little Burgundy and Saint-Henri or a Toast to Upper Class Traditions in the Golden Square Mile? The city is your oyster and the choice is yours to make.

Happy November: Several activities featuring wine and bubbly are planned during the entire month of November, making it one happy month. Listed among the many great events are dinners with fabulous wine pairings as well as wine events with thousands of products to taste and hundreds of winemakers, distillers and brewers on hand to answer all your questions. Rare bottles, bubbly and Quebec cheeses are also on hand for your tasting pleasure.

Events on Mont-Royal Avenue: For the duration of the event, six restaurants on Mont-Royal Avenue will be inviting guests to dine by the soft glow of candlelight.

Go forth and indulge Montreal and don’t forget to use the official event hashtag: #MTLaTABLE in your tweets and/or Instagram photos.
