Vancouver’s Best Vintage Clothing Stores

I don’t know about you, but shopping is one of my favourite pastimes! There’s nothing like strolling Vancouver in search of the best vintage finds to relax and unwind. Rather than sporting similar looks from the high-street as everyone else, vintage stores open the doors to unique styles. So, if you’re new to Vancouver or returning, keep on reading to find out where to get your hands on effortlessly cool vintage pieces.

Little Miss Vintage

Step inside Little Miss Vintage, located on one of my favourite streets in Vancouver, Commercial Drive, and dive into hand-picked and one-of-a-kind vintage clothing for both women and men. 80’s, rock chic, hippie, punk… you name it and Little Miss Vintage has it hanging on racks. They often have great sales too, with lots of clothing and accessories marked down to 60% off. Who doesn’t love a bargain? Don’t miss a trip to Little Miss Vintage, I promise it won’t disappoint!

Location: 931 Commercial Drive.

Mintage

While on Commercial Drive, stop by some of the other vintage stores in the area, like Mintage. With new items added in store each day you’ll have a new experience each time you’re here – precisely what draws me back time and time again! Browse the racks, sift through their robust shoe collection, and update your current outfits in the accessory section. Hours of fantastic finds await!

Wildlife Thrift Store

A personal favourite is Wildlife Thrift store on Granville Street. Whenever the opportunity arises I pop into this store, and I am always amazed at the quality and variety this store offers. A family-owned operation and a shop that continually gives back to many local charities are another two reasons I’m a huge fan. Not only will you find clothing here, but you’ll also come across furniture, books, and all kinds of trinkets too. If you only have time to experience one vintage store while in Vancouver, make Wildlife your choice.

Hey Jude Shop

For serious fashionistas who want to mix and match vintage and not compromise on current trends, say hi to Hey Jude. With a minimalist and monochromatic feel, this vintage store is modern when compared to traditional vintage stores. I love that the items found at Hey Jude are inspired by the founder’s travels. With worldly inspiration at your fingertips you know you’re going to find unique pieces here. While items are slightly on the pricey side I can assure you’ll want to leave with every piece you see in the store.

Location: 315 Abbott St.

Now you know where to go, all that’s left to do is shop till you drop in Vancouver!
