Whistler Haunted HouseThe Hawthorne Asylum

Get Spooked at The Hawthorne Asylum! 3145 Hawthorne Place in Brio, Whistler

It began with a conversation, an idea and a dream, and “Whistler Haunted House” was born. Created by Whistler residents including Brendan Cavanagh and a few friends, “The Hawthorne Asylum” is being built out of an incredible passion for creativity, a desire to provide fun entertainment for the community, and out of love for Halloween. Utilizing materials they had in abundance, making handmade props and landscapes, with some help from friends and a handful of eager volunteers, the Haunted House has truly come alive. Volunteers are not only helping set up the show, but will also be spooking you during the three night haunt. The Haunted House is a short walk or bike ride from the village along the valley trail and the North bound bus stops just out front of the Brio entrance.

Families and those who scare easily are encouraged to come between 6pm and 8pm. Actors and props will be extra spooky starting at 8pm for the full fright experience.

Whistler Haunted House is seeking volunteers to help with, the creation of props and landscapes, with set up and tear down and with “spooking” our beloved guests. Donations of Halloween props are very welcome and enormously appreciated.

Times: 6pm – 8pm (family fun): 8pm -10pm (full scare)
